Do you pick up at my hotel in Playa del Carmen?
Yes — pickup is included from every zone of Playa del Carmen at no extra cost. The time depends on where you are staying, because the route runs from south to north.
We send the driver’s name and the vehicle the evening before and wait 15 minutes past the agreed time. If your street is closed to traffic we agree the nearest corner with you the day before, never on the morning of the tour.

Driving times from central Playa del Carmen on federal highway 307, outside rush hour. Going north to Chichén Itzá, leaving from Playa del Carmen saves about 25 minutes each way compared with leaving from Tulum.

Questions about leaving from Playa del Carmen
What time do you pick up in Playa del Carmen?
Between 6:45 and 7:20, depending on your zone: Playacar at 6:45, Centro and Quinta Avenida at 7:00, Colosio at 7:10 and Coco Beach at 7:20. Full-day tours to Chichén Itzá and Bacalar leave about 45 minutes earlier.
Is the price per person or per group?
Per person, and it drops as your group grows. On the Tulum ruins, reef and cenote tour, for example, it goes from $210 per person for two people to $140 per person for a group of ten. Every tour page lists the full table.
Can we change the itinerary during the day?
Yes. The vehicle and the guide are only yours, so the guide can stay longer where you are enjoying it or skip a stop. Changing the tour itself less than 48 hours before carries a 5% fee.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can for December to April and holiday weeks; the rest of the year a few days is usually enough. Send us your date on WhatsApp and we confirm availability for your group.
What happens if it rains?
Tours run in light rain; if conditions stop the boat, the reef snorkelling is swapped for a second cenote at no extra cost. If you would rather move the date, tell us at least 48 hours before.
Do we need to know how to swim?
No experience is needed. Guides give a safety briefing before every swim and life vests are included for snorkelling and cenotes.
Are the tours suitable for small children?
Yes. Because the tour is private, the pace follows your children, not a group. Life vests are available, and the half-day tours work best with the very young.
Can you pick us up outside Playa del Carmen?
Yes. Every tour includes pickup from Tulum, Puerto Aventuras, Puerto Morelos and Cancún as well. Pickup times change with the distance, and a surcharge may apply from Cancún.
